This was the match of two agressive, though defenses, where shorthanded Serbia with several injured player not present in the squad and with others just recovered from serious injuries (Lekic, Damnjanovic, Tomasevic, Cvijic) made a heroic game, and caused problems for the defending champions from Montenegro.

“It was very tough, athough we were preparing as if she played all the time. True, she was scoring goals for Serbia, but it did not affect the final result so much.”
