The Danish Handball Federation has announced on Sunday that they not wish to continue their contract with Jan Pytlick , clearly he was fired as head-coach.
” The conclusion was drawn in full reciprocity between the headcoach and Danish Handball Federation’s political, administrative and sporting management.
“We are extraordinary thankfull for the work he has done with the women national team and deep appreciation for the results he has achieved since he started, said Morten Stig Christensen – DHF
Jan Pytlick has waited one day to give statements, which sounds like this:
“I think the last two years have been very difficult. I have felt crucified. I have hung on the wall and slowly but surely bled to death. I feel that I could received more support lately.
” We hired a sports manager (Ulrik Wilbek), and I must admit that I also thought that it would get more speed on things than it has done,
“I am very sorry that I can not lead the Danish women’s national team for medals in the World Championships in Denmark next year. It was quite my biggest goal and motivation.
The next head coach’s name is already speculated on media sites and we can read anyithing from Kim Rasmussen, Helle Thomsen, Morten Soubak, Jesper Jensen, Lars Fredriksen and Jan Leslie.
