
It’s now official. Klavs Bruun Jørgensen are new head coach for the female national team of Denmark, after Jan Pytlick earlier were sacked from the position as head coach. Søren Herskind have been chosen as the new assisten coach for the danes.
From June 1st Klavs Bruun Jørgensen will not be the head coach of Team Tvis Holstebro, but assigned to his post as National team head coach at full time.
– We’re both proud and happy that we succeeded to get Klavs Bruun Jørgensen as a head coach for the danish national team. We want to give a big thanks to his employer, Team Tvis Holstebro, for a good cooperation in the negotiations, DHF’s sports manager Ulrik Wilbæk states in a press release given from the federation.
Main goal is medals
Klavs Bruun Jørgensen look forward to his new job as a head coach for the danish womens team.
– I’m proud to have this job, and work with the best players and compete in the big international competitions, where we of course want to go home with medals.
About his new assistant, Søren Herskind, Klavs Bruun Jørgensen tells;
– I know Søren Herskind really well. We trust and respect each other. Where I’m more practical, Herskind is more a theoreticher, so we will be a strong team together, Klavs Bruun Jørgensen states.
