Larvik HK –  Viborg HK 31 – 18 (18 -10)

Topscorers: Linn Kristin Riegelhuth-Koren (Larvi HK) 6 goals, Alina Wojtas, Thea Mörk, Marit Malm-FRafjord, Karoline Dyhre Breivang (Larvik HK) 4 goals each and Isabelle Gulldén (VHK) 6 goals and Helena Mikkelsen (VHK) 5 goals

This match would have been a tougher game if Viborg had been able to present with all their players, but Sanja Damnjanovic, Mette Gravholt, Maris Fisker, Sille Thomsen and Cecilie Dalmose are all injured, Maura Visser is not allowed to play in the CL and the night before the match Rikke Skov and Louise Burgaard became ill. So the Danes arrived to Larvik with totally eight player, two of them goalkeepers.

During the match was no doubt the hosts will win it clearly, the only question only was if one of the two goalies have to play in field also. After the third 2 minutes suspension of rightwinger Louise Lyksborg, goalkeeper Rikke Poulsen had became a right winger.

There occured some troubles with her pants, but after using the Larvik Arena as a changing room (with 3000 spectators), she managed with the help of Viborg staff to finally wear a short, which was totally right and followed the rules of handball of course! Then she also got a goal from rightwing, against Hasanic, the funniest moment of the match.

Larvik tried out many new compositions, all the players got some playing time, youngsters like Kristine Breistöl, Sofie Lund or Vilde Johanssen scored goals and Tonje Larsen returned in a Cl match. Larvik got the two points and the leadership of the group.
