Viborg HK’s headcoach, Cristian Dalmose had been fired Saturday morning after an extraordinar meeting in the Danish club. This came after he got his contract extended for next season on week ago.

The team of Viborg has traveled to Metz (France) for their next CL match with a brand new coach, Lars Friis Hansen.

Nikolai Norup, Viborg’s director said:

” It was a disagreement between coach and the players, which was not possible to repair. That’s the reason we choose this solution.”

Later on Saturday came a statment from Rikke Skov related to he situation:

“I don’t want to give details, bit I can only say hat we are a group of players which means that we cannot have Christian as our coach anymore. We choose to go to leadership of the club, we have been listened and the decision came afterwards.”

New permanent headcoach will be announced soon.
