Before te match:

“We have to remain confident and composed for the entire 60 minutes. Vardar have enduread a lot changes and made a big improvement in comparison to the last season. I expect a big fight, and it is up to us to show composure and strength to bring down the big opponent,

“I am sure that Vardar will play handball in typical Danish style, but both Buducnost and Montenegro national team have enough experience to deal with it, -said Dragan Adzic.

“Buducnost have the all-important experience – they came close last season, and now we want to go all the way. There weren’t many departures, and I am back with the team which is bound to help,” said Katarina Bulatovic

“We are putting all of our strength and effort into this. We’re playing better and better, and we want the FINAL4 to be the pinnacle of the season. We better forget the last season’s duel, as this one is going to be a completely different story,” said Andrea Lekic.

First half of the Balcan-derby started with a long period without goals, and after 10 minutes the rsul was 1-3, for Montenegrin side. The two teams showed a stron defense, and Clara Woltering had a fantastic performance in Buducnost’s goal. Vardar seemed to be clueless before the opponents defensive wall.

Neagu and Petrovic took the responsibility for Buducnost’s goals, Vardar was kept in game by Radicevic, Dembele and Penezic, 5-7, after 16minutes of play.

Buducnost showed a more focused handball, both in defense and in attack, Neagu and Petrovic had a great day, meanwhile Maacedonian side still struggled in attack: 7-12, 25.minute. Jan Pytlick decided to call his second timeout to instruate his team and make some changes, which could return the path of the game. This was not helping, since Buducnost won the first half at 9-14.

Second half started with Vardar scoring, but Buducnost managed to continue the focused handball they showed in the first half and keep the lead, later even to increase it, 12-17, 14-21 (48.minute).
