Tomasevic was a real wall in the FTC’s goal, making several big saves, meanwhile Spanish Nerea Pena scored ten goals for this succes. Tomori (next year she moves to Győr) put her contribution with six scorings.

Győr showed a weak defensive play, their attacks also were quiet inefficient and without clear lines. Heidi Löke took over 7 meters since Kovacsics and Sen failed, but it was too late.

Győr has played their last game of the season unfocused and without fire. They could not qualify to the CL F4 and for the first time in eight years they lost the title in Hungarian League.

Final resut: 25-27 and 0-2 for FTC, which is the new Hungarian League winner after two victories in final.

Ambros Martín-headcoach of Győr:

“First of all congratulations to the opponent for winning the Hungarian title! I am very sorry for my team, because they worked and struggled a lot throughout the year, not only with the opponents, but also against conditions. I am sad also because of our fans, they were beside us until the last seconds, they believed in us, but unfortunately we could not make them happy today. No matter how painful the memories of this season would be, we must remember them, it might cause pain today, but tomorrow we could use it as a lesson.”

The bronze match:

The first match in Érd was interrupted because of electricity brake caused of a storm, last Thursday, then Érd was in lead against Dunaújváros 14-9 after first half.
