Győr meets Serbian Champions from Radnicki Kragujevac in order to qualify to the final of QT Group 1, which will be played tomorrow against the winner of the second semifinal where hosts from Glasseverket will play against Dutch Dalfsen.
The match starts with Győr scoring five in a row, Serbians are not able to put the ball behind goalkeeper Kiss, who saved two penalties in the first ten minutes, generally having a great performance.
Tomori, Löke, Korsós, Groot, Broch, Bódi and Knedlikova all scored, Győr were focused only on their play, Serbians struggled in defense,gathering six two minute suspsensions in teh first half and theirofensive play was weak and without concept against a well working Győr defense.
Half time score: 20-3, for Győr.
The second half was continued as the first one ended, GYőr scored, Radnicki had some better moments in attck, scoring seven goals in the first 13 minutes of the second half, but Győr had alreday an advantage of 2o goals at 29-9.
Final result: 42 -13

” I am really satisfied that we managed to focus during all the game and we have taken this match seriously, both our attack and defense worked well in long periods of the game and we had a great goalkeeper performance also, Éva Kiss was amazing.
“We played our game, focused on ourself, that’s how we prepared for this weekend, our aim is to qualify to the CL group phase of course.
” We had some problems with injuries lately but we are know ready to play handball.

” We came here to qualify to the CL group phase, so we have to show that we are in good shape to be able to play two good, focused games in two days.
This match was difficult because we had not information about Kragujevac, we only knew that they have a young team. We had a plan to focus on our own game, we managed to do so and now we are in the final of QT. That’s why we are here, we took the first step.
“I don’t really know what to expect from the next game, I will watch it and try to get a picture of tomorrows opponent.

Hege Bakken Wahlquist and Kristin Nørstebø both scored nine goals when Glassverket beat Sercodak Dalfsen in the semi-final of the Champions League tournament in Drammen Saturday.
” I had a good feeling before the game. I don’t really know why, but I just had a feeling that we would win today. And I am very happy we did, Hege Bakken Wahlquist says.
” I am really glad that I am back and that I managed to score some important goals when we really needed them, Kristin Nørstebø adds. It was her first match after missing out on the two first league games of the season due to injury.
