Final result: 30 – 21.

Eduarda Amorim (Győr), came back after an injury break, but her defensive work helped the team today:

“The match was a difficult one, we made it hard for ourselves, since we were not focusing on our game in the first half, we tried to play  opponents tempo and style. This is a problem of discipline, which we managed to correct in the second half. Of course we played nervously, so we caused some emotions both on the court and on the stands.

We needed to make our defense work and to score from backplayer position several times, we knew that with a strong defense the attack will also improve, and that happened.

I am happy that we made it, we are in CL groups now and we have to continue working to build the team, learn each others movements better, to know how to help your teammates to play at their best.”
