Group B: FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria (Hungary), Thüringer HC (Germany), HC Podravka Vegeta (Croatia), Fleury Handball (France)

Thüringer HC is the German champion, the club keeps tight the title from some years and is a constant participant in the Champions League. Last years they made it to the best eight, there were stopped by Larvik.

A series of important players left the club after previous season, and new one arrived, but if we are analyzing the quality of left players and comparing with the newcomers we can realize that the squad has been weakened.

Nadja Nadgornaja, Franziska Mietzner, Martine Smeets and Yulia Snopova left, Petra Popluharova ended her career , but new interesting players had arrived.

Headcoach Herbert Müller can start to build a new team, six players on the backcourt are newcomers, but they have new lineplayers or wingers as well.

Newcomers:  Natalia Reshetnikova (Universitet Izhevsk), Anouk van de Wiel (Göppingen), Lotte Prak (Koblenz), Lucie Satrapova (on loan from Slavia Prag), Eliza Buceschi (Baia Mare), Beate Scheffknecht (Göppingen), Crina Pintea (Zalau),
