Russia won thriller match vs Norway

Last opening match in Arena Nord, Fredrikshavn, became a thriller from start to the end and nothing were sure before the final whistle sounded in the arena.

Both teams followed each other close the first 20 minutes, before Russia went to half time with a three goal advantage, 14-11.

Norway used the half time break good, and got even with the Russian team in the first ten minutes of the second half. From there to the end there were a close fight with many duels that also resulted in some expensive 2 minutes suspensions.

– We lost the match in defense today, Thorir Hergeirsson stated after the match.

Heidi Løke agreed with headcoach Thorir Hergeirsson, and think the whole team have to take another step and be more aggreissve in their defense play.
