Brasil – France 11 – 9 (21 – 20)
Topscorers: Ana Belo (BRA) 5 goals and Allison Pineau (FRA) 6 goals

Brasil were in front most of the match but never managed to get a comfortable lead on France. Last 10 minutes both teams struggled, and with just seconds left of the match it seemed that it were going to be a draw.

France had taken the goalkeeper out, Nze Minko scored for draw and didn’t manage to change fast enough with the goalkeeper after this and  a clever Brasilian play between Arenhart and Diniz secured a scoring from the center of the field and won 21-20  – that means for the South Americans the 1st place in the group.

DR Congo – Germany 19 – 37 (11 – 18)

Topscorers: Olga Milemba Kalende, Apopie Lusamba Puna (COD) 4 goals and Susann Müller, Lone Fischer (GER) 8 goals
