Katowice: Croatia won the opening match

As predicted Croatia won the opening match vs Belarus. Both teams had some start problems and ended first half with 15-15.

Croatia did the needed adjustments and took the lead in the second half, and built it up to a six goals victory, 27-21.

Result: 27 – 21 (15 – 15)
Topscorers: Manuel Strlek (CRO) 9 goals and Siarhei Rutenka (BLR) 8 goals

Croatia plays again Sunday 18.15 hrs against Norway

Belarus plays again Sunday 16.00 hrs against Iceland
