Spain, one of the favorites to win the tournament, won a very entertaining game against Germany in Wroclaw by a final score of 32:29 (18:15). Valero Rivera led Spain with seven goals on seven shots, while goalkeeper Andreas Wolff was Germany’s best player with a save percentage of 37.
