EHF 2016 – Katowice predictions: Totally open group

This group are totally open before the matches are played Tuesday evening. Who will advance to the main round, who will have to travel home and who will get points with them and a better chnce to reach the semifinal.

19.01.16 18:15 hrs Belarus vs Norway
Both teams have surprised both themself and the supporters with important victories. When we talked to the norwegian coach Christian Berge, he could tell that he is not surprised that Belarus could win and give the other teams a real fight.

– It’s an experienced squad with many of the players playing in the champions league, Christian Berge tells Timeout Magazine.

I will still say that Norway is a favorite to win this match, especially if they can stop some of Rutenka’s attacks on the goal.
Prediction: Norway

19.01.16 20:30 hrs Croatia vs Iceland
Iceland surprisingly lost against Belarus, and I think they will revenge this when they meet Croatia. Croatia had to struggle against Belarus, and lost against Norway. I think Croatia will have big problems against Iceland, and might have to go home after this match.
Prediction: Iceland
