Croatia routed Iceland today in Katowice and scored 35 goals for an easy win, but for Domagoj Duvnjak the defense made all difference: “We were mobile and faster on defense than we were in the last game. I think that was the key for us to win the game.” Keeper Mirko Alilovic was voted player of the match, a fact which Duvnjak pointed out as well: “It’s our task to help him as much as possible and today we did. Now in the main round we have to take one game at a time, because we are far from being a title contender at the moment.”
