Belarus with mourning bands in memory of a supporter died in car accident

The team of Belarus has come to the court tonight in the match against Poland with black mourning bands on their green jerseys in order to show respect and playing tribute for one of their fan’s family.

The Belarussian family was in Poland to support their national team at EHF EURO 2016, but two days ago they suffered a regrettable car accident near Katowice where the wife have unfortunately, deceased and their son is in the hospital in critical condition after surgery (information from Polish media).

The match was won by Poland at 32 – 27.
