German team took a flying start in the final against Spain, 5-1, with an aggressive defence system and a well performing Andreas Wolff in the goal.Spaniards managed to score their second goal after twelve minutes, 5-2 which is increased to 7-2.Kai Haefner is on the pitch for Germans scoring four early in the match, Spain still struggling in their offensive set up, 8-4 after 21 minutes of play.
Germany got a lot of well-deserved two-minute suspensions from the Danish referees, but Spanish team just has not the day, they do not manage to score even in power play.
The result is 8-5 after 28 minutes of play, that means at both teams had periods without scoring for more than five minutes and both goalkeepers Sterbik and Wolff had saved the half part of the opponents shoots.

In the second half Germans continued the tough defence and Spain continued to miss in attack, in clear situations and seven meters as well.15 – 9 after 43 minutes of play, and Spain seemes clueless in attck and helpless in defence, Sterbik had some good periods but could not stop alone the German team.
A sorain German team gave no chance to the opponent in this encounter which ended with clear victory for the team of Dagur Sigurdsson. Spain with top players in their squad had been crushed in the final and got the silver medals.
