Topscorers: Nycke Groot (Győr) 6 goals and Isabelle Gulldén (Bucuresti) 6 goals

Győr has a long injury list: Tomori, Tóth, Bódi, Korsós, Görbicz-almost a lineup-all of them knee injured, meanwhile at Bucuresti Line Jörgensen and Maria Fisker are away because of  injuries.

Exciting first half in a fully crowded Audi Arena where the host team met Romanian champions from Bucuresti.

Two teams formed of top players, knowing each other closely from other encounters.

Close battle, tough fight brought an aggressive home defense and two goalkeepers, Grubisic and Grimsbø on the opposite sides of the courts having main role in their teams performance.

After 1-3 and 2-4 fro guests, Nycke Groot took the game in her hands and equalized, than Gyor took the lead 5-4. Groot, Broch and Løke was the main scorers of Gyor, guests were kept in game by Gullden, Torstensson and Belo.

Before the break Gyor had a three goals lead, 12-9-but half time result was 12-10.

In the second half Győr showed a much stronger defense, making even more difficult for Romanian team to come close to the goal, and if they managed Grimsbö stopped them.

Amorim found her shooter arm as well as Knedlikova on the right wing had a great match, both with five goals.

Bucuresti were still dangerous when Gulldén, Belo or Torstensson attacked, but an overwhelming Hungarian side kept them far away when it came to result and Győr won the game 28-22.
