Topscorers: Ekaterina Ilina 10 (Rostov Don) goals and Danick Snelder(THC) 4 goals

Jan Leslie’s team seemed to not have problems against Thüringer HC on their homecourt. Herbert Müller’s team was struggling in attack, the name of Katrine Lunde seemed to intimidate German players. With a shining Ilina on the top of the scorings list Rostov had a comfortable lead before the break.

The second half Russian just increased the difference to ten goals (19-9) and tried to please their fans from the stands as well.

In the last fifteen minutes of the second half Russians played little bit more relaxed than expected and THC managed to reduce consistently the gap, scoring on fastbreaks and from lineplayer position, winning actually the second half  17-15.

Final result: 30-24
