Topscorers: Julija Eriksson (IK Savehof) 11 goals and Johanna Ahlm (FCM) 6 goals

Champions League continued with a Scandinavian battle, where favourites from Ikast were surprisingly crushed by young Swedish team in Partille.

Swedish side opened the game with 7-1, but Helle Thomsen’s team managed to reduce the gap to 9-7. This was only temporary as hosts had a six goals advantage before pause.

Danish sisde seemed to not fing the rhythm of the match and made mistakes over mistakes, and Swedish girsl increased the lead to ten boals 23-13, 26 -16. FCM was not able to come back into the game and lost with a big difference, having rather small chances from now to reach the quarterfinals.

Final result: 32 – 24
