Before the match

Important game for both teams, since this is the last chace for Danish side to take a berth in quarerfinals with a victory. If Bucuresti could not win today, they have a mandatory victory in the last home game against Győr.

The match

In the first thirty minutes we saw an equal battle fo two well prepared teams, which ended 12-12. Both teams had good goalkeeper performance on ther side, Pessoa and Englert made a good work. Isabelle Gulldén and Carmen Martin scored for guests, meanwhile FCM-players shared the goals.

In the second half CSM Bucuresti opened with a 0-5, Bazaliu and Bradeanu were on top in these minutes and CSM got a five goal advantage, 12-17. FCM could not reduce the gap significantly during the next period, and CSM won the game, clinching a quarterfinal berth after this round.

CSM Bucuresti can finish on the third or  fourth in the group, if Vardar will be defeated by Buducnost and Savehof, and CSM beats Győr-third place, if Vardar makes only one point in next two matches will finish before Romanian team anyway.

Final result: 23-28
