Tranfers news FTC – Anikó Kovacsics to strengthten FTC

Another Hungarian club, FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria has made an official media announcement today on the club’s website about arriving and leaving players, newcomers and players extending their contracts.

Newcomers:

Anikó Kovacsics arrives from Győr, and had signed a two years agreement with FTC. The 24 years old playmaker is changing clubs because she wishes to play more in her original position, playmaker. As known in Győr she got different duties, but mostly she played as leftwing in the last period.

” It was a difficult decision to make  because I played for a long time in my current club, but I believe that I made the right choice. I mean that is a big possibility and also a huge challenge to play in FTC from next season. The offer of the club and the presented plan for future had a positive impact on me and made my decision easier.

“I know every player of the team and I think that it will be easy to adapt.  I am looking forward with a lot of excitement to be part of the work done here, to be able to help the team and continue to improve as a player.”-said Kovacsics.

Danik Snelder has signed for two years as well, and she is coming from THC. The Dutch lineplayer is searching for new challenges in her career.

Goalkeeper Melinda Szikora has prolonged her contract with 2 years, lineplayer Rea Mészáros with 3 years, Piroska Szamoránsky with one year more. Szandra Szöllösi-Zácsik will stay another two years at FTC and leftwing Adrienn Szarka extended her contract with one more year.
