Both Poland, and surprisingly, Tunisia, qualified for the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro in Gdansk yesterday. While Tunisia shocked a lack-luster Macedonian side by winning 32-26 (17-10), host Poland had no problems against underdog Chile, beating the South Americans by a final score of 35-27 (19-13). Today’s games of Poland against Tunisia and Macedonia against Chile have therefore become meaningless.
