The first leg hs brought a crushing defeat for the Borwegian side in a game where French goalkeeper of Vardar, Amandine Leynaud was unstoppable, Larvik managed to score only one goal in the first 17 minutes hich seemed to be decisive at the end.
In the second leg Norwegians hd a plan, to take farewell from CL with style nd they managed to do that. Made a much better performance and managed to get a victory in front of own spectators, even if they had no real chances to turn over the huge differene from the first match.

Topscorers: Nora Mörk (Larvik) 7 goals and Jovanka Radicevic (Vardar) 7 goals
The Macedonian eam, with a new coach in person od David Davis has improved a lot in defence and in the discipline of their offensive game, which boosted their performance visibly. Lekic, Penezic, Radicevic or Lazovic presented a much better handball than before and Leynaud was outstanding between the sticks.
HC Vardar has made it to the Final Four third time of three possible, but they managed to ake only the bronze medals in the to previous seasons.
