Metzingen has reached the final in the EHF Cup by eliminating teams like ZRK Naisa Nis (SRB), Iuventa Mihalovce (SVK), HC Leipzig (GER) in quarter finals, than ASA Corona 2010 Brasov in the semifinals. The team of Hungarian headcoach Csaba Konkoly has still a slight chance in Bundesliga as well, to win the title, fighting against the best team like THC, Bietigheim or Leipzig.

German, Dutch, Norwegian or Swiss players are in the squad of Tussies and they could be called the surprise team of theis edition of EHF Cup.

Into the final they arrived without one of their best players, German international lineplayer, Julia Behnke suffering a knee injury in the domestic game against THC.



The team of Dunaújváros with their Croatian headcoach, Zdravko Zovko is one of the best teams in the Hungarian League, but they arrived to this final after a big disappointment, being eliminated in the quarterfinals in the playoffs of Hungarian league, by Debrecen. So they lost the chance to compete for the best four places.

They has qualified to the finals eliminating teams likeIndeco Conversano (ITA), Siófok KC (HUN), Russian Astrachanochka in quarterfinals and Danish Randers HK in the semifinal.

Hungarian national team players, like Bulath, Triscsuk or Kovács are leading the team and they are confident to be able to win this cup, since the second leg will be organized in the Veszprém Aréna which can give hoem to 5000 spectators and fans.
