Grubisic: “Defence and goalkeeper performance will be decisive”

EHF Final Four Women

CSM Bucuresti team

Jelena Grubisic-goalkeeper:

“We were not really expected to be in this year`s FINAL4, but we are very happy to be here. Our team includes in every position players with great skills. We prepared ourselves good. For us it is a different situation like for Vardar in the league. They could only focus on the Champions League, whilst we were busy in the league and cup. Definitely the defence and goalkeeper will decide the match. We have to follow tactics and order of our coach, be patient in decisions. If we follow closely of what we planned, we will be the winners.”

Isabelle Gullden-playmaker:

“This is my first FINAL4 participation and I am very excited to be here in Budapest, play in a great athmosphere and against such strong teams.

“I think we are so far the surprise team of the Champions League. We had to cope with several injuries during the season. We overcame Rostov thanks to our self-confidence and tactics. We lost two games against Vardar, now this is a new situation and the chances are 50-50 in my opinion.”
