Romanian club, CSM Bucuresti still aims high and is working to strengthen the squad. After surprisingly winning the Champions League trophy in May 2016 in Budapest several players had to say goodbye, Pessoa, Fisker, Vetkova or Rodriguez having signed contracts with another teams before the end of the season. The same happened to the headcoach Kim Rasmussen, who became the national team headcoach of Hungary for 4 years.
CSM Bucuresti had quickly confirmed a new transfer to the headcoach position, another Dane, Jakob Vestergaard will return to Romania.
The transfers of Paula Ungureanu, Majda Mehmedovic, Camille Ayglon, Gnonsiane Niombla was also confirmed meanwhile Katarina Jezic was rumoured to the pivot position.
The last rumour proved to remain just a rumour because this week CSM Bucuresti has announced that Anastasya Lobach (BEL) will play for the team for the next season. The 29 year old lineplayer has been without team in the last six months, but she has a lot of experience from her previous teams Zvezda or HCM Baia Mare from the CL, so it could be a huge help to her new club. Lobach has signed an one year agreement with the Romanian champion.
