Women’s EHF CL seeding ready

The European Handball Federation made the seeding for the Women’s EHF Champions League qualification and group stage draw. Title holder CSM Bucuresti is in Pot 2, while all the other participants of the 2016 EHF FINAL4 are in Pot 1. The teams from the same pot can’t face each other, nor the teams from the same country. In the qualification tournaments, the teams of Pot 1 will have the right to organize the tournament. The groups of the main draw will be decided on Friday, 1 July, in Glostrup, Denmark. Before that, the qualification groups will be drawn on Wednesday, 29 June, in Vienna, Austria.

The pots for the group stage draw:
Pot 1: ZRK Buducnost (MNE), Győri Audi ETO KC (HUN), ZRK Vardar (MKD), Larvik HK (NOR)
Pot 2: CSM Bucuresti (ROU), Team Esbjerg (DEN), Astrakhanochka (RUS), Thüringer HC (GER)
Pot 3: IK Sävehof (SWE), Metz HB (FRA), FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria (HUN), FC Midtjylland (DEN)
Pot 4: Rostov-Don (RUS), Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2, Qualifier 3

The pots for the qualification draw:
Pot 1: Glassverket IF (NOR), HC Leipzig (GER), RK Krim Mercator (SLO)
Pot 2: Hypo NÖ (AUT), HC Podravka Vegeta (CRO), MKS Selgros Lublin (POL)
Pot 3: Indeco Conversano (ITA), Balonmano Bera Bera (ESP), Sercodak Dalfsen (NED)
Pot 4: HC Gomel (BLR), Yenimahalle BSK (TUR), Iuventa Michalovce (SVK)
