After beating Sweden and finishing third in the “Cocoa from Ghana” Tournament in the Netherlands, Evgeny Trefilov published his 15-player-squad for the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Ludmila Postnova suffered an injury not much before the announcement of the final squad, so the sharpshooter won’t be a part of Russia’s team for the OG. However, being named by Trefilov doesn’t mean a secure ticket for the Russian girls – the Russian Olympic Federation’s case is still being examined and discussed because of a doping scandal. In case of a negative decision, the whole Russian Olympic Team would have to miss the Olympic Games. The Russian athletics team is already banned from Rio.
