France defeated Romania in Ulstein Cup

On the finish line before the Olympic Games in Rio there is a preparation tournament arranged in Ulsteinvik, Norway.

Participants: Romania, Spain, France, Norway

All four teams are playing their last matches before Olympic Games and make the last adjustments on their play.

Romania – France 18 – 24 (7 – 13)


Romania: Ungureanu, Munteanu – Perianu 3, Manea , Vizitiu 3, Chiper 1, Geiger 3, Elisei , Zamfirescu, Buceschi 3, Tanasie , Szűcs 1, Neagu, Bradeanu 2, Chintoan 2

France: Leynaud, Glauser –  Pineau 4, Saurina  1, Lacrabére 4, Dembele 6, Houette 1, Bulleux 1, Dancette 3, Edwige, Landre, Zaadi, Niombla 1 3, Nze Minko, Horacek, Flippes

France started strongly with leading 7 – 0 and 10 – 1 against Romania, which started the match again without Neagu. The first half ended 7 – 13.

In the second half Romania showed a better play, but never managed to close the gap more than 4-5 goals and France won the match.

Final result: 18 – 24
