Ana Paula Rodriguez has signed a contract with HC Odense in December 2015, in order to be able to get rid off CSM Bucuresti. The Romanian club had financial and economic problems in that period of the season, the players did not get their salaries, Fachinello left the club and transfered to Denmark in the middle of the season. Pessoa had also the intention to leave but eventually she got her salary and she fulfilled her contract. The rest is history, CSM Bucuresti won the Champions League in May 2016 against Győr in Budapest.
Suddenly, Rodriguez changed her mind and did not want to fulfill her agreement with HC Odense and asked her manager to fix the problem. At that time headcoach Pytlick and the clubmanager Mark Jespersen were both saying that every player signed a contract with the club is binded to HC Odense, but as everything is salable as the buyer pays the price.
The deal is closed as today the clubmanafer of HC Odense has admitted officialy in Danish press that Ana Paula Rodriguez will not be a HC Odense -player from next season but she will move to Russia, as the Danish club sold her out to Rostov Don. (CSM Bucuresti was also interested to seal a deal and get back Rodriguez but seems that Russians offered more)
Rostov Don has a Danish coach, Jan Leslie and they already have under contract two other playmakers: Ekaterina Ilina and Lotte Griegel.
