Rio 2016: Spanish squad to the Olympic Games

Spain will arrive to Rio De Janeiro as a bronze medalist from London Game 2012 and the team od Jorge Duenas  has as big ambitions this time also as they had in London.

Spanish team has participated in an international preparation tournament in Norway, defeating France and Norway and finishing draw with Romania and winning the Ultesin Cup. With the confidence gained there are Spanish girls traveling to Rio.

The squad: of fifteen players:

Goalkeepers: Silvia Navarro, Darly Zoqby de Paula

Lineplayers: Elisabet Chavez, Ainhoa Serrador Hernandez

Leftwings: Elisabeth Pinedo Saenz, Naiara Extremado Egozkue

Rightwings: Carmen Martín Berenguer, Marta Herrero Lopez

Backplayers: Nerea Pena Aburrea, Macarena Aguilar Diaz, Alexandrina Cabral,  Nely Carla Alberto, Lara Gonzalez, Patricia Elorza, Marta Mangue
