
The winner of the last edition of OG is Norway, today meeting Sweden in a Scandinavian encounter. Norway finished second in group A, Sweden was on the third place of group B. The two teams knows well each other, they even had training matches , both won by Norwegians.
The first half starts with a 7/7 saves from Kari Aalvik Grimsbø, no Swedish player reached the net for 9 minutes, meanwhile Oftedal, Herrem or Kristiansen scored for Norway. Marit Malm Frafjord got an injury at her left ankle, but this was not to bother her team.
Early timeout from Henrik Signell was to a little help, Gullden managed to score, 1-5. But this was only the preview of a Norwegian running machine, which ran over their neighbours and won the first half at 7-19, pure outclassing.

Camilla Herrem, Norway
The second half had no other direction for Sweden, however they managed to score several times , 9 – 23, 14 – 27 and Filippa Idehn replaced Bundsen in the goal, with a substantially improved performance.
The result of second half was a draw: 13 – 13, but nothing could stop Norway to defeat Sweden by 12 goals and to qualify to the semifinals of the Olympic competition.
