FC Midtjylland with a new headcoach this season

FC Mitdjylland is the team which had a constant presence in last years Champions League competitions, in 2013-2014 they even reched the first Final Four in Budapst. This season will be totally different, not only because they finished second in the Danish League, but because of the fact that the club and headcoach Helle Thomsen parted ways few days before the kickstart of the season.

The new headcoach currently is the assistant coach who worked beside Thomsen, Kristian Kristensen.

Swedish playmaker, Johanna Ahlm left the club after the previous season, Serbian goalkeeper Ana Vojcic has announced her retirement and young rightback, Pauline Bögelund transfered to TTH, alongside with two oher young talents. In addition the well known lineplayer Susanne Thorsgaard left the club also, to sign with HC Odense.

On the newcomers side there are also known names in the world of handball, Romanian, Icelandic and Swedish players arrived.

Left the club: Pauline Bøgelund (TTH Holstebro), Susan Thorsgaard (HC Odense), Johanna Ahlm (IK Sävehof), Jane Mejlvang (Ringkøbing Håndbold), Line Skak (TTH Holstebro), Emilie Bastrup (TTH Holstebro), Annika Jakobsen (Skanderborg Håndbold)

Newcomers: Linn Blohm (TTH Holstebro)-lineplayer, Eliza Buceshi (Thüringer HC)-playmaker, Rut Jónsdóttir (Randers HK)-rightback ,Elin Linden (VästeråsIrsta HF)-rightwing, Martina Thörn (Glasseverket)-goalkeeper
