Danish rightback needs surgery after hand-injury

Danish rightback, Line Jörgenesen had suffered an injury during the Golden League match against Russia last weekend. After an unlucky fall the bone was out of joint and the ligaments were torn in her right hand. Early diagnosis showed that there is no serious injury, but after an MR-examination the verdict is that Jörgensen (CSM Bucuresti) needs a surgery.

The surgery will be on Wednesday than her arm needs six weeks of imobilization, than several weeks of recovery.

” It is very disappointing to find out that I am forced to have such a long break. I was just done with my knee injury and recovery, I am in great shape and was looking forward to start with Champions League and national team matches. Now I will miss the Europeans also, but fortunatelly I am good taking care of.”-said Line Jörgensen on the
