FCM headcoach works for Hungarian national team also!!

Current headcoach for the Danish Champions League participant team FC Midtjylland got a job as fitness trainer and videoanalyst in the staff of the Hungarian national women team. Hungary is lead now by another Danish coach, Kim Rasmussen. Kristiansen will participate with Hungary at EURO2016 in December already.

Kristian Kristiansen was the assistent coach working together with earlier headcoach of FC Midtjylland, Helle Thomsen until August 2016, when Thomsen was relesed of her contract due to internal disagreements in the club.

Earlier Helle Thomsem had a job as a Swedish headcoach, twice, in 2014 and 2016 for a  shorter period. This summer after she helped the Swedes to qualify to the Olympics, the Swedish handball federation wanted her to take over he team on permanet basis, but the FCM’s management did not agree to their headcoach having dobbel job. The situation seems to be quiet similar right now: FCM’s headcoach, a job at another national team and the management agreed this time.

Danish tv2 is also guessing why this situation is accepted now and it was not good enough in another case, but the club explains with the fact that Kristiansen got the job meanwhile he was still an assistent coach at the club, not a headcoach.
