Metz through to the Main Round after homevictory against Glassverket

In group A Metz hosted this afternoon the ínorwegina runner-up, Glassverket after they managed to take the two points from Norway one week ago.

In the first half the two teams played a close game, where Metz had problems scoring against Guro Rundbraten in Glassverket’s goal, performing at a high level, 57%. Glauser was not bad either, 48%-and Metz had two goals advantage in the pause, 12 – 10.

In the second half Metz pulled together their defense, Laura Glauser improved her goalkeeper game, Ana Gros managed to find the goal behind Rundbråten and this was enough for Metz to play a much better handball and win the game at a comfortable advantage.

Final result: 25 – 19 (12 – 10)
