Czech Republic missed the last two big international competitions and now they will return to the main stage with a rejuvenated team. Some of the most experienced players decided to quit the national team so head coach Jan Basny had a lot of task to solve before the EURO with a newly-built young team. The Czech team won’t arrive to Sweden with high hopes but they don’t want to leave the competition without a mark as outsiders: they intend to collect at least a win. To complete that, they will need to defeat Denmark, Hungary or Montenegro. Basny sees some chances for that against the also rejuvenated Montenegro.
