
The Croatian team did not manage big achievements in the last few years, they could not qualify from the group phase in 2014 on home court at EURO 2014, and after that the team missed the qualification to the World Championship from Denmark 2015.
This year Croatia goes to Swweden with a new head coach, Goran Mrdjen and a brand new team, former topplayers not many to find in the squad, only Andrea Penezic and Vesna Milanovic Litre will travel to Sweden alongside with a bunch of young players.
