
The second match of the group B in Kristianstad had a clear favourite from the start, the Olympic silver medalist France is one of the medal candidates here in Sweden too, meanwhile Poland arrived with a new head coach and without Karolina Kudlacz-Gloc.
In the first quarter after the start Poland managed to stress the French team, leading 4-5, making a surprisingly good game, but France improved the defence and goalkeeper play, taking the lead 8-5. Poland had no good answer to the French assault, so Pineau and company finished the first half with 15-9 lead.
In the second half France continued to run, Poland did not manage to keep up the tempo which resulted in a big French victory, with many fastcounters scorings. Final result:
