Second defeat for Poland as Netherlands took the points

In group B Netherlands needed to win against Poland as they lost in the opening match against Germany, surprisingly. Poland has been defeated at a huge difference by France, so both teams wanted a fresh start.

In the first half the two teams played an equilibrated game, but in the second part of the match Netherlands managed to show that fast attacking play as we knew and Tess Wester was the living wall on herself in the Dutch goal. Kinga Gryzb and Alina Wojtas were the most efficient players for the Polish team,  most of Dutch goals were scored by Lois Abbingh, Michelle Goos and Debbie Bont.

Best player of the match: Tess Wester (NED)
