Romania sends home Croatia

In Group D from Helsingborg the last day of group matches brought today Romania against Croatia, and after the start period where Croatia gave something to fear to Romania by leading 3-6 after 9 minutes, the match took aother direction after that and Romania won the first half 15 – 13.

In the second half Romania had a secure lead and controlled the match, leading 20-15 then winning 31-26.

Cristina Neagu put 10 goals in the Croatian goal, as Andrea Penezic finished with eight.
