Germany and Croatia in a duel for top spot in group C

“It is going to be a good game“ – Germany is waiting for Croatia

On Friday Germany will meet Croatia. It is the deciding match who will finish first and who will finish second in group C.

Finn Lemke, the center-back of Germany will meet his teammate from SC Magdeburg, Zeljko Musa.

“I play together with Musa in the same club in the Bundesliga. I am looking forward to meet him on the court and to play against him. Croatia have a new mixture of players and so it will be interesting to play against them. We did not meet so far, neither in Poland at the European Championship nor at the Olympics in Rio. So that will be the first time we meet the new team. It is going to be a good game,” Lemke said.

Also Domagoj Duvnjak will meet some teammates from his club Kiel in the match against Germany.

“I think we will meet for a coffee tomorrow”, Duvnjak is relaxed before the match.

“There is an off-day, unfortunately we are not in the same hotel, but we will meet in the city centre,” the players stay in contact with each also during an important tournament.

“I hope that every fan and spectator will be satisfied with the game. For us it will be difficult, because Germany is playing very, very well. But we will try everything, that we will win and finish first in the group. I am looking forward,” Duvnjak added.
