Transfer news from Denmark – HC Odense aims high

The handball market is very active in the last period and we looked at the Danish transfers of the last months. We can say that there is a new team in Denmark which going to be huge, Jan Pytlick’s name is a guarantee to lock top players to HC Odense. They have already players like Masson, Quintino, Fachinello, Reinhardt, Jakobsen, Thorsgaard but from nest season they have signed left back Stine Jørgensen (26) and right winger Trine Østergaard (26) -both are leaving FC Midtjylland. Norwegian lefthanded player Maja Jakobsen had extended her contract with 3 more years. On the line player position will also play a strong duo as strong duo as Katrine Heindahl from Randers HK will also continue in Odense for the next three years. Another Randers-player, playmaker Mie Høylund is moving also to Odense for three years.The 20 years old right back, Mette Tranborg will also be a part of the Odense squad, also on a three years agreement.

Rumours are circulating also that Sandra Toft would be an option for HC Odense….

Viborg HK – Line Uno (playmaker)  and Sidsel Bodholt will play at the club fro the next two seasons. Goalkeeper Rikke Poulsen had extended also her contract with the club. Rightwinger Simone Bøhme left the club in January to join CL-winner CSM Bucuresti in Romania, she needs to replace Cristina Varzaru – injured.

FC Midtjylland –  has extended the contracts fro Veronika Kristiansen, Sabine Jakobsen, Sabine Pedersen, Louise Burgaard, Mie Augustesen and head coach Kristian Kristensen for two more years, and they signed earlier FCM player Trine Troelsen (Silkeborg) for left back position and Anne Mette Pedersen (København) for right winger position. Eliza Buceschi left the club in the winter break, she is playing now in Romania at Braila. Leftwinger Fie Woller also left the club and she is playing in Germany for Bietigheim from January 2017. German goalkeeper Sabine Englert had also prolonged her contract for one more season with FCM.

København Håndball –  their biggest signing is strengthening the goalkeeper position by signing the Swedish national team goalkeeper, Johanne Bundsen (IK Savehof) on a three years contract. Anne Cecilie De La Cour has extended her contract with the club, so did Mia Rej. The have also signed Norwegian right-winger Line Bjørnsen (Glassverket), for 2 years.

Team Esbjerg –  Pregnant Estevana Polman prolonged her contract one more year, Norwegian Ida Karlsson will retire, rumours are telling that Amanda Kurtovic might be an option on that position.

Randers HK –  Kristina Kristiansen is rumoured on the playmaker position….

Serbian goalkeeper Jovana Risovic will also leave Randers HK after only one season, when she had to seat a lot on the bench.
