Official press conference was held today in Győr, where the handball club Győri Audi ETO KC presented two players who extended their contracts with the club, Hungarian national team players, playmaker Anita Görbicz (2 years more) and goalkeeper Éva Kiss (prolonged one year) will stay in Győr.
“I played in Győr my whole life so it was no question if I will stay. I signed a two years contract and I believe that I am able to play two more years on the highest level. I do not intend to retire yet, even if I am 34 years old.” – Anita Görbicz said.

Danish leftback, Anne Mette Hansen (22) has been also presented as the new player of the club. She has signed a 3 years agreement from the beginning of the next season.
“It’s an honor to be a part of this team from next season and I think that is no need for explanations why I chose the best club in the world to play at. I know that it will be tough in the first season and I have to fight for every playing minute. But I am a tough player and big fighter, so I want to show my qualities and achieve great results with the club” – Anne Mette Hansen said
Still unclear if Hungarian leftback Zsuzsanna Tomori will stay at the club, as her contract expires at the end of this season.
