
IHF Player of the Year 2010 and 2015, Cristina Neagu has decided to leave Buducnost Podgorica at the end of the season. The Romanian superstar will return home and will play for the title holder of the Champions League, CSM Bucuresti. The 28-year-old Bucharest-born Neagu signed a two-year deal with the Romanian powerhouse and is very happy to be able to return to her birthtown:
“It makes me happy that for the first time in my career, I can represent my hometown on the highest level. It is my big dream to win the Champions League with a Romanian club and I strongly believe that there is a chance for that with CSM Bucuresti.”
Cristina Neagu signed a contract with Buducnost in 2013 and in this period, she has won the Champions League in 2014.
