In the last round of the Main Round the already quarter-finalist Metz Handball was hosted by  Russian Astrakhanochka in a match which had no impact on the result and positions of the teams in the Main Round group I.

Astrakhanocha made a good first half, leading by two goals before the break, 13-11, but in the second half Metz showed their real face, the face which smashed Vardar last weekend. The French team lead by Smites and Zaadi made a good effort and won the game by eight goals, 20-28.

Final result

Astrakhanochka – Metz Handball 20 – 28 (13 – 11)

Astrakhanochka: Postnova 4, Chigirinova 4, Sisenova 3, Zelenkova-Sichkina-Levsha 2 goals each, Sabirova-Kozhkoar-Tazhenova 1 goal each
