FC Midtjylland – Vardar HC 26 – 28 (12 – 18)


FCM: Englert, Thörn – Jensen 5, Jörgensen 4, Blohm 4, Burgaard 4, Kristiansen 3, Pedersen 3, Friis 2, Jakobsen 1

Vardar: Leynaud, Pessoa, Suslina – Penezic 7, Lacrabere 5, Lazovic 4, Radicevic 3, Lekic 2, Herrem 2, Mavsar 2, Damnjanovic 1, Covic 1, Althaus 1

Vardar made a powerful first half, Penezic, Lacrabére, and Radicevic were the leaders. Meanwhile, FCM had problems in defense, Englert could not add saves and Macedonians won the first half with six goals.

The second half was totally different where FCM improved their game and won this half with 14-10. Burgaard, Blohm and Kristiansen made a better second half and the match ended with a two-goal win for guests. Vardar has one leg in the F4.
