
Győri Audi ETO KC’s summer reinforcement Anne Mette Hansen suffered a knee injury during the game between Győr and Siófok in the 3rd round of the Hungarian league on Thursday. The Danish left back felt pain in her knee after her overtime shot in the end of the first half, and she didn’t return to the court in the second half. According to Danish sources, Hansen suffered a partial rupture in her posterior cruciate ligament, but these information was not confirmed by Győri Audi ETO KC. The Hungarian club stated that Hansen will undergo further examinations after her return to Győr, and these will tell how serious her injury is and how long she will be out. Obviously, Anne Mette Hansen will miss the upcoming two EHF EURO 2018 qualification matches of Denmark, but the time of her EHF Champions League debut is also in question for the autumn season if the Danish news happen to be true…
